I’ll never forget the first time I walked through our Nature’s Park. It was a humid afternoon, and the air smelled like wet earth and herbs. There’s this one spot—a little garden of medicinal plants my grandmother used to talk about—that hit me right in the heart. At Amla Biotech, we built this park to hold onto those stories and plants that our ancestors relied on, while also looking ahead to a greener future.

It’s not just a pretty place (though it is that too!). We’ve got trees and shrubs you won’t find anywhere else, some of them endangered, growing strong thanks to our team’s care. There’s a corner with old tools and artifacts—think woven baskets and grinding stones—that show how people lived off the land way back when. I love taking visitors through, especially kids, and watching their eyes light up when they smell a fresh herb or spot a rare bird.

We’re also serious about conservation here. Every tree we plant, every seed we save, is a step toward protecting Uganda’s biodiversity. It’s a labor of love, and honestly, it feels like a responsibility we owe to the next generation. Planning a visit? Let us know—we’d love to show you around and hear what nature means to you.
